Phlebotomus perniciosus (M)

Phlebotomus perniciosus Newstead, 1911
Subgenus: Larroussius Nitzulescu, 1931

Male P. perniciosus and P. tobbi is easily distinguished from the other Larroussious males by their characteristic aedegus that is bifid at the tip. In P. perniciosus both point are at the same level and sharp while in P. tobbi distal point longer and rounded.
